Chroma Shows on the main floor of Vault Virginia
First Friday, October 4th, from 5:00 – 7:00 PMTrish Crowe: Teetering
“I am always teetering on the edge of discovery: in color, in line, in symbolism.
I relish the expressive power of imagery to provoke. The power of color to bring the plane of the watercolor paper forward and retreat is a delight to me in the process. I work only in watercolor.
Trish Crowe .Born in England, Trish Crowe went to Parsons School of Design in New York City, lived and worked in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and London before moving to Firnew Farm in Madison County with her husband. There she founded the Firnew Farm Artists’ Circle in 2004, a supportive and thriving community of area artists.Trish Crowe:Teetering continues in Chroma’s microspace through the month of October, closing on the 25th.
The Culture of the Earth featuring Isabelle Abbot, Fenella Belle, Lee Halstead and Cate West Zahl continues in the Great Halls of Vault Virginia through the end of November. So please come celebrate that show with us on First Friday evening as well!
Exhibition Viewing Hours are Weekdays from 10:00 – 4:00, and by private appointment by contacting Deborah McLeod at artlab@chromaprojects.com.
Chroma is located on the main floor of Vault Virginia, the entrance is located on 3rd St, S.E., across from The Front Porch music school.
